Ultrathink integrates with ChatGPT through automatic conversation capture using the browser extension. Your AI conversations are captured, organised, and made available for future reference in your knowledge base.

Auto-capture with the browser extension

The Ultrathink browser extension automatically detects when you are on chat.openai.com or chatgpt.com and adjusts its capture behaviour accordingly. Instead of saving a simple link, the extension extracts the full conversation thread.

Ultrathink connects with Notion to automatically extract content when you capture Notion URLs. This integration bridges your Notion documentation with your Ultrathink knowledge base, so you can reference both without switching between apps.

How the integration works

When you use the browser extension to capture a page on notion.so or notion.site, Ultrathink detects it as a Notion page and extracts the page title, content, and database properties using the Notion API through an internal integration token that you configure in Ultrathink’s settings.

API access

API access

Ultrathink provides a REST API that gives you programmatic access to your knowledge base. Use it to build custom integrations, automate workflows, or connect third-party tools to your entries.

Authentication

All API requests require a device key with API access enabled. The key is passed as a Bearer token in the Authorization header.

Creating a device key

Sign in to tryultrathink.com
Go to Settings, then Device Keys
Click Create New Key
Give the key a descriptive name (for example, “API automation”)
Enable API Access
Set permissions:
- Read: list, search, and retrieve entries
- Write: create and update entries
- Read+Write: full access
Copy the key immediately; it is only shown once

Note: API access requires a Pro plan subscription.
